Only 1 week away from our first game!  To run a successful game day, we need your help!  Please CLICK HERE to sign up for dog duties for weeks 1-4.  Additional signups will be released once the remainder of the schedule is released.  Please read through the guidelines below.

What are Dog Duties?

Dog Duties are volunteer positions performed by the BBFC Membership family for every home game.

Why do we have Dog Duties?

Dog Duties are required at BBFC home games because aside from our member registration fees, much of our BBFC revenue is generated at home games. All parents of football players and cheerleaders must perform their Dog Duties in order for the BBFC program to be a success.  Dog Duties are fun and are a great chance to meet other members within BBFC family!

  • Each family is to complete 3 Dog Duties.  Failure to complete the duties will forfeit the $200 Dog Duty check.
  • The duty assignment is for the entire game (including delays)- please plan your schedule.
  • You are to sign in for your Dog Duty no later than minutes ahead of your game assignment to ensure we have coverage.
  • Any family member or friend may perform Dog Duties, so long as the volunteer is credited to the child's name at Dog Duty sign in.

Welcome to BBFC!

Welcome to the online home of the Brighton Bulldogs Football and Cheer. Our athletes  represent excellence both on and off the field, and we set our expectations high: study hard, train hard, and work hard. Our athletics program is unparalleled thanks to a supportive community of parents and fans. Our coaching staff specializes in building better athletes, students, and citizens. We emphasize teamwork and demand the personal commitment to play like champions—every practice, every game, every time.

The goal of Brighton Bulldogs Football and Cheer is is to win, but that is NOT the primary goal.   The primary goal is to teach youth the benefits of team sports in a safe manner, to nurture their growth potential, and to provide them an opportunity to compete with their peers.

Play Hard, Play Smart and Play Together”. Hard means with effort, determination and courage; Smart means with proper execution and poise, Together means unselfishly, trusting your teammates and doing everything possible not to let them down.

"If you want to win, do the ordinary things better than anyone else does them day in and day out"
                Chuck Noll

Why does youth football boost participants' confidence?
Because it gives them a sense of belonging and purpose. Because it surrounds them with mentors who pour into their lives and make them feel valued. Because it teaches them that they can handle any challenge that comes their way.

Toughness is a skill and can be practiced and improved like all other skills.

BBFC Football and Cheer Coaching

Positive & Enthusiastic volunteers needed to coach with Brighton Bulldogs Football and Cheer!

Coaching a youth sports football team can be a tremendously rewarding experience, giving you the opportunity to help young players learn the game of football in a fun and safe atmosphere. Time dedication, character and integrity are a must. Football experience is preferred for the older teams, but not required for the younger teams or for assistant coaches.

For cheerleading, we are seeking energetic, motivated coaches and assistant coaches who enjoy working with youth between the ages of 5 to 13 years old and young women participate in cheerleading. Additionally, the bond created by a parent coaching their child is one that will be cherished and remembered for years to come.

Enthusiasm, time dedication, character and a positive attitude are a must!

If you want to be a coach please download and complete the Coaching Application here. It requests some personal info that will enable us to complete a background check.  Once the background check is passed you will be eligible to coach and will be contacted prior to the season beginning to confirm your spot and provide you with details on the upcoming coaches meeting.

One of the ways that BBFC  raises money for equipment, facilities rental, uniforms for football and cheer is through fundraisers. Please look at the upcoming fundraising  activities and enjoy a meal at the restaurant locations  while supporting your football and cheer teams!
